Stole my tailgate them F heads any body know
Where I can get a gray 08 tailgate in San Antonio tx???

check craigslist. they are always on there. you might even get yours back. get a jimmijammer after you get a replacement. i keep mine locked too.

they design locking devices for door handles and tailgates. its a bracket that goes over the "rolling mechanism" for a lack of a better term and keeps the tailgate from being pulled out.

I keep mine locked as well, the thieves (Shi?-heads) love the F-250 with the backup cameras and steps. When I replaced mine I just got one with the camera and not the step as thought this may detour the thieves (Shi?-heads)from taking. Yeah, what's a Jimmijammer?

They stole mine last year and I don't have full coverage as the truck is paid off so I had to pay out of pocket.
$3,500 later I have one and I make sure it's locked ever night.

3500 for a tail gate? Damn. I dont have a camera but do have the step. I guess I better think about locking mine.

Regular old hose clamp around that piece the tailgate slips into would probably work too.

just keep an eye on craigslist. you'll be able to buy it back for a few hundred bucks

they steal them left and right. Where else can a crack head make $500+ for 30 seconds of labor?

Yup definitely keep an eye on Craig's list even for a month or two. Some guys will wait a while the put it on. Makes me sick I'd live to catch someone in the act
