Need everyone's help ASAP!

Ok so here's the rundown a friend of mine bought his son a 2010 f250 4x4. Then he went and put a lift, tires, wheels, exhaust, tuner etc and gave it to him for his 16th birthday. 1 1/2 months later his son blew it up. The truck needs a complete new engine, rebuilt or new tranny, new radiator, new intercooler, new tranny cooler, fuel tank and a rebuilt rearend. Oh and a new set of 37s that he burnt off before the motor went boom. My question to you guys is how much would you charge on something like this? Me and 1 other guy are going to be doing the swap and I'm not sure how much to charge. Any ballpark estimates? Like I said the engine is completed trash(pistons, crank and everything are FUBARed) so it need a complete engine. Thanks in advance guys!

Tell him to junk it and get his son a Kia Rio until he learns some respect. That would be a whole lot cheaper, and MUCH more valuable over the kids lifetime.

That truck is probably a write off with that much damage. A remanufactured engine alone is $9-$12k. You're probably looking at that same figure to replace or repair everything else. That kid deserves a bus pass if you want to be nice. If you really want to teach him a lesson, let him walk or ride a bike.

Buy it all from Ford, mark it up more, and charge regular labor rate. He might just be dumb enough to pay it.

Part it out and buy the kid some shoes. Seriously, he sounds like a total moron and a waste of life.....or, this post is a joke!

A kid in my town got a cabellas 6.4. Put a spartan on it and exhaust. Rolled it a few weeks ago. It's a shame. Some kids just don't know how lucky they have it.
