Should I BUY ?? Questions about 6.4

I have read all about the issues that 6.4s may or may not have. Have read extensively on all of it, including all the info on what mods should be done. I spent a couple years looking and reading and decided just to buy a gasser. Long story short I still crave the diesel and could definitely put it to use. I have been searching the past few months and have found one I am going to look at tomorrow. It is job2 with 170k miles for 18k. Crew cab lariat, short box. Looks to be in mint condition cosmetically. Here is the carfax link CARFAX Vehicle History Report for this 2008 FORD F350 SUPER DUTY . Looks to be pretty well maintained based on that car fax. Im guessing no mods that I can see anyway. If it has made 170k with no major repairs showing on carfax. Is that an indicator that its a good build, and if I dpf egr delete asap it will make 300k ? What do yall think please.

Your good brotha. Google is my truck job 1, 2 6.4 power stroke and you'll quickly see the explanation. It's referencing when the truck was manufactured . Job 1 early 07 Erc forget exact dates you'll see though.

Basically radiator issues with job 1. Don't know if the job is even relevant any more as most issues shoulda been worked out with any truck that had those back in 08-09. I'm going to look at this truck today and probably buy it.

Go to a Ford dealership with the vin number and ask for an Oasis report. It's a service history record. It'll give you a better idea if the truck was well maintained or if they're dumping it because it has some issues. A lot of times Carfax isn't very accurate.
