Crazy truck switch question but had to ask....

I am pondering trading my 08 F250 (job 1 truck) in on an 08 F250 (job 3 truck).

I have had my truck for a year, has 17500 miles on it and did not have all the things on it that I wanted when I bought it but it was all they could find so I did it.

Jump to now, and that I finally found what I wanted and it has it all. With the Ford rebates, loyalty cash, a few other allowances they have offered and the reduction in price on their truck my payments will basically be the same even after trading mine in (+/- 8 to 16 bucks)...

So the silly question, should I do it? I would then have a fresh canvas (so to speak) to start with and it is the exact truck that I want.

Just wanted opinions.. Everyone said that now is the time and since they are not making any changes for some time on the Super Duty, I figure why not?

Just curious to see what others would do....

He11, Go for it. What we want now is'nt always what we want several years from now anyway. "The only thing constant is change"

Heck

If you can trade a truck in that has almost 20,000 miles on it and come out with the same payment you would be crazy not to!

Ya that seems to be the direction I am heading in. Just waiting on the call back tomorrow to make sure that they will give me what I want (need) to get out of my truck to make this deal work.

I do however think it is odd that one dealership would make me an offer on trade and then another dealership about 20 miles from them would offer me $3K more for my truck.... Besides area market conditions I can't think of any other reasons...
