Front end bouncing up and down while braking on freeway

Hey Guys! you were lots of help last time... and once again its another problem. should have kept my 7.3, i traded it so i wouldnt have to keep working on my truck. i have a '69 cadillac id much rather be working on than this thing! so... when braking at high speeds and sometimes low speeds my trucks front end bounces up and down. all brakes and rotors are new. spoken with a few folks and we have come to the conclusion it could be the steering stabilizer? theres also a little play in the steering that i assumed was just a little play in the gearbox. its 2008 CC 6.4l king ranch 4x4. thanks in advance guys!

Bounces or like shimmies fast? You need to check out your drag link and track bar bushings. I feel like it is going to be a track bar bushing.

No, it BOUNCES! Really bounces. I can watch the hood move up and down. Not sure if this is helpful. But there were highways in Colorado it would do it on no matter how fast, braking or no braking. They were new highways too, you can just see where they now a tad I'm assuming from the cold weather. Back in Texas now and it's only when I brake.

I would check your tires and make sure you don't have a belt separating or something.

My truck does the same thing, but not while braking, only while crusing on the interstate.

My old 5.9l cummins did it and 4 new shocks fixed it. I just bought my 2010 f-250 and with 150k on the ticker, i'd like to replace the factory rancho's.

I do only notice that the bounce only occurs while on concrete pavement but on asphalt it is smooth.
