heating

My 2008 has egr delete with 5" flo pro exhaust H&S mini max. this morning was driving the heat started blowing cold got home raised hood degas bottle was puking coolant my hs coolant was reading 170 usually reads 194. would my thermostat be stuck.

well mine did the same. Does it blow cool air when you are just sitting at idle? It could be headstuds. That is my problem right now. I still drive it cause my temps are fine.

Thanks for reply. I had truck running for about 30 minutes and the heater warmed up but coolant temp stayed at about 150 and normally it's 194 so not sure yet what is going on I.hope it's not studs I'm just about finished building my 6.0 motor. so won't have money to start doing my 6.4. So praying it just thermostat. By the way nice Gobbler
