Fuel cap dangle..

I have a black 08 and starting to see scuffs where the cap dangles due to there being no hanger or anything for the cap to sit in like my cummins did. Am I missing a part on my truck, or is this how they did them all? Anyone have any idea on how to keep it from dangling down and hitting the truck?

There should be a hook on the inside of the fuel door that you hang the fuel cap tether from.

Cut that pile of crap tether/hanger thing off the cap and just put your cap on top of the rear tire.

This was one of the first things I noticed (6.0 induced OCD haha) when I got my 6.4. It will only continue to scuff your paint.

No biggie, my door is smooth there..maybe I can fab up a hook but it looks like it has some slack still

There is some slack but still keeps cap a couple inches from side of box.
