winter grill cover install?

Hello my 08 came with a ford front grill cover when I bought it but they didn't have the installation instructions. Does any body have a copy they can scan and send me? I'm not quite sure how this thing goes on.

The instruction Ford includes with the winter front are hard to decipher/useless. Here's some pictures of how I install mine. I've had no issues with it and I've been running the cover every winter, weather permitting. I'll put it on and take it off several times during the winter depending on the temperature.

1. Put the four brackets with the Velcro on the edge of the grille where the side tabs for the winterfront are. There's two tabs per side.

2. Feed the straps through the grille and secure them to the holes on the grille. Tighten the straps up.

3. Bend the bottom tabs at a 90* angle.

4. Close hood.

I just bought one and looked at the instruction I'm pretty sure the same guy who makes ikeas instructions makes these as well. I hope those 4 Velcro tabs don't rub the paint off. I think I might put the straps like you have them. I have them strapped to the holes under the hood. I can't believe how well this thing works.

I've had no issues with the Velcro pads rubbing paint off. They seem to be protected on the inside. Also, where they attach, is where the grille meets the headlight so you can't really see anything if they do scratch some paint off but better safe than sorry.

Well, mine's installed but not the way your pics describe Didn't help that it was below zero and there was ice all over my hood. It stayed on when I drove to work today
