Practicality of aftermarket intercooler

Recently I hit a deer and he put a hole in my intercooler in addition to about 1000$ of damage underneath as well as a bumper and grille. I tried braising it and it still leaks just not as much. When looking at these intercoolers idk what the difference is between spearco banks and afe vs stock. If anyone knows the answer to this please tell me.

Damn. Sorry that happened.
If you decide to go with an OEM intercooler I got one with 14K miles on it. I will let it go for $500.00 plus S&H. Im in SO Cal.

I did a comparison of most if not all aftermarket intercoolers offered for the 6.4. They were all pretty similar. I liked the numbers, specs, and testing done to the aFe so I bought one.

Daily driving- it'll give you noticeable low end gain. My EGTs were pretty low so not much change.

Towing heavy- EGTs never got over *1100 degrees towing 15k lbs.

Race- I don't race much or make WOT runs so I really can't tell a difference. I think some guys with bigger turbos have them and some don't.

Doesn't seem that practical nor biggest bang for your buck. However nothing wrong with running your engine a little cooler.

In all honesty I talk to a guy from up here in the mitten a bunch you guys have probably saw his red 6.4 around the interweb hes making 1101hp and 2002tq and still has his stock intercooler said its not worth the money to upgrade so I mean the guy has 30k into his motor and if that guy says you dont need it haha then I dont think its worth it his truck runs an 11.6 iirc
