Lift kit?

Im looking to do a 4.5 or a 6" lift. would i have to change any steering components or just buy the lift. what tires would look the best with 20" stock rims? lastly i tow a 9000lb travel trailer and i was wondering if a lift will change anything with towing? I dont want to spend a mint on a lift any suggestions?

If you want a lift between those two id get a 6 inch. The kit will contain all you need. Tires at most i'd go 37s. I had a 6 inch kit on a dodge with 37s and it ran and towed good. When towing you might see a little sagging but with a 6 inch kit you may be able to add air bags to help with sagging. Brands I currently have a rough country 8 inch and have had bad luck with it. Iv heard there 6 inch kits are good but on mine my shocks are bad iv broken the add a leaf twice and the U bolts are junk. My dodge had a 6 inch bds. Very solid lift had some miles on it and it was still a good kit. Didn't sag much and is just a hair more than rough country. Both have life time warranties.

Thanks for the reply! I saw a 6" rough country for 650$ does that sound right? a lot of the other brands are over 1k. also would 35's look good on a 6" lift?

Jordan yours looks bigger then a 8. Maybe I'm wrong. I had 35s on my 6 and I thought it looked stupid. Lots of ppl commented saying I needed bigger tires. I have 37s now and its the right look. I have about 7 leafs in the back and couldn't get it to squat if I tried
