Gear ratio questions

I have a 2010 F250 with 8' lift with 38' tires. It's my daily driver also I tow my toy hauler loaded about 10k and live in BC Canada so lots of big hills. My truck now feels like it has to work way harder then it does. I'm thinking either 4.10 or 4.30 gears any input and we're is a good place to get them

I'm in the same boat as you, stock 3.55 gearing & 37' tires(36.25" rolling down the road) = 1588 rpm at 110KPH (68mph). = lugging along.

If your 38" tires have an effective rolling diameter of say 37" then 4.10 will give you 1798rpm @ 110KPH, & 4:30 will give you 1885rpm @110KPH. (Assuming you have the 5spd automatic)

This outfit in Burnaby has been around awhile:

Yeah I want to retain some good milage but at the same time not kill my granny and truck towing. I do mostly in town driving so I don't think my mileage won't be affected to much
