Yeah, your probably in need of a #1 injector and possibly a pump... running water in these trucks usually means big money repairs... Like complete fuel system replacement....maybe you will get lucky...sounds like he ran off road diesel from a non-filtered source...a big tank sitting above ground with just a pump and a hose with no water separator/filter...no bueno...
