08 Ford F350 dually 4x4 crewcab lariat.
Replaced the front brakes and pad with powerstop stuff before a trip to California in Feb. Warped the rotors by the time I got home.
Got powerstop to replace the rotors and pads since they warped on one trip.
I don't daily drive the truck and it took me until recently to get the new pads and rotors on it.
Putting them on, the drivers side is fine. The rotor spins pretty freely. The passengers side has been a pain. The rotor won't spin freely. I changed the caliper and brake line thinking that they were the cause. Nothing changed. I then loosen up the dually spacer and the rotor would spin fine. I tightened it back up, going from side to side as like putting a tire on and it spun fine. I pumped the brakes and after releasing them the passengers side rotor would barely spin.
I took it out for the break in period and did the stopping and starting per power stops directions. The passengers side is not producing and smoke but does smell a big hotter than the drivers side. I'm going to jack the front up today and see if the passenger's side is still not spinning as well.
If its not, I don't know what to do?
I have a big trip coming up and will be crossing the mountains on 70 and need everything to be working well.
Any of the dually guys or ford mechanics run into this before?
The other thing I've thought is to put the old rotor back on and see if if makes a difference.
