Ecoboost to 6.4 got questions

Hey guys,

I'm thinking about trading my 2012 ecoboost for a 2008 6.4 cc/sb with approx 220 miles on the truck. Its got a 4 inch lift with 37's and a few other mods.

What should be my major concerns when thinking about doing this deal? What are the issues you guys are seeing with these trucks and are there any concerns you would have with doing something like this?

Sorry, I'm just kind of the new guy when it comes to diesel trucks

Well, being a 6.4 (prone to engine failure due to emissions junk) I would hope it's deleted. Get an Oasis report, and make sure all the TSB, Recalls, ect... Have been done.

What is your Eco boost? Ccsb? Miles? Fx4? Seems like your 2012 ecoboost should be worth more money...

Yep. The F-250 would be worth about $17k max. I'll be doing just the opposite, going from a 6.4L to an Ecoboost here pretty soon.

What's making you want to do this?

Simply because I have a 6.4L dedicated for towing. I don't need two. The Ecoboost would be a much better daily driver.
