Spartan questions

if i buy a brand new spartan tuner do they still come dpf/ egr delete capable?, and does anything need to be done with spartan themselves to be able to use it on my truck? And if i buy a used tuner what are the steps to being able to be able to use it on my truck

If you buy a Spartan new they make you sign a waiver saying for "off-road use only."
Give a shout over to Sean @ Street Diesel Performance 860-250-6082. Tell him Rob @ TK sent you. He will take care of you.

And for used you would have to contact Spartan to redo the licensing. Im pretty sure there is a fee for it. I think its $250 but dont quote me. I ended up buying brand new so I have a warranty on the unit.

Used tuner you take a chance on the person not returning to stock so that is a $599 fee, if they did return to stock, it is a $250 fee

Maybe I got lucky but I bought my spartan used and the previous owner as promised had returned his truck to stock. So I got a $1500 tuner for roughly $800 after the relicensing fee. Which is a pretty good deal for someone if your trying to stretch your play money a little farther. And the customer service I have experienced with spartan is second to none even though I bought used.
