Are all trucks wired for upfitter switches?

First, the question. Are all 2008 F350's wired for upfitter switches? Wired, as in, they have the 14401 plug that power the switches.

The story;

I have begun installing newly purchased upfitter switches on my '08 KR F350. Everything went smoothly until I tried to find the 14401 harness. I am pretty mechanically inclined, and I know where the thing is supposed to be. I also know that it should be light grey, and have a plug in it that has to be removed. I have literally spent hours looking for this thing. Am I just blind?

Here is where I'm looking.

My 2005 Larriot was. It was a plug and play type of thing. Ill bet your's is. I think Ive read they all have the same wiring harness, just not all the goodies that can be plugged into the harness.

Glad I'm not the only one! I've searched and found a couple threads where guys had issues finding the plug, only to find it later, but I've been under this dash for quite a while with no luck. And it's not like I'm not somewhat familiar with it, I've swapped all three blender motors, I've had the dash almost entirely out of the truck, I'm just lost with this.

That was my understanding, but I'm starting to doubt it. Unless the guy that built mine was having a bad day, and just hid the thing. It's no where around the place that Ford says it is for sure. You can see from the pic that I know where it should be

From the pics I've seen, and from the ford directions, it is above the gas pedal, on the brace that runs to the tubular brace. This is on the 2008-2010 trucks.
