08 dyno results

Wanted to let you guys know how my truck did on the dyno. First ill let you know about my setup. 08 kr cc sb, h s minimaxx race tuner, sinister egr delete, diamond eye dpf delete, s b intake, sinister coolant filter, 4" lift, 18" race line wheels, Toyo 35 12.50s. I normally just leave the truck on the no power setting because my truck is normally used just for towing the boys dirt bike trailer or the family boat but I wanted to see what she could do on the dyno on the hot damn setting. So I drove it about 300 miles on the hot setting to let the tranny learn the power setting. Then dyno days arrived and she put down 472 rwhp and 871 ft lbs torque. Amazing numbers for tuner only power. People are dumping pretty serious dollars on there dura max and cummins to see those numbers. The 6.4 is a beast.

So you dont even have a full exhaust system? Wow! My truck has a dpf and cat delete, stock exhaust otherwise, spartan tuner, and an S and B intake (not installed yet), I sure wish I was near a dyno to see how it would do, I think your numbers are sweet!

Numbers seem pretty low... IMO. You should be close to the 600's. My 6.4L with similar mods dyno'd 578 RWHP. Same tunes, same size tires.

Wonder why his was about 100hp lower. Most are in the 575 range on that tune

seems about right to me, hot damn tune puts hp at engine about 650. couple that with the25 to 30 percent loss to rear wheels due to drivetrain. Those numbers are exactly what I expected to get out of her. How could you you expect to get 550 or 570 at rear wheels. that's only a loss of 80 to a hundred horse to the drivetrain. Not saying you guys are wrong but 550 seems like a pretty high number to expect from my setup

Seems low to me. Depending on Exhaust set up and intake that along should add another 75hp or so. The stock exhaust is very restricting. I know by adding an intake you can see 20rwhp

Did you have it on the highest setting? They are just saying it seems low because everyone else that has dynoed that setting with similar mods have been at the 570 hp range. Maybe you were just dialed down a couple settings

Maybe something is up with my truck, don't really know where to start looking. If you guys are all seeing those numbers that must be about right. It was definitely on the hot damn setting. Before dyno I changed all my fluids and filters and it seemed like my tranny was hitting really hard and healthy. Not sure where I could be losing a hundred horse

Like posted above, maybe the defuels were on and it was in the process of defueling or you may have even been 1 setting beloew the performance setting which is the 225hp setting. Who knows. Either way as long as you are happy with the truck that's all that really matters.
