Freeway "whoom whoom whoom" soft vibration at 55-60mph
Hey all, pretty much for as long as I've owned this truck, it has had a "whoom whoom whoom whoom" sensation that is audible and I can feel it through the floor slightly. I wouldn't even call it a vibration, more like a harmonic pulse of some sort that drives me nuts.
I just got back from the tire shop and had the tires balanced. They said a wheel weight had fallen off. Result: the truck feels maybe a tiny bit smoother, but the whoom whoom whoom whoom sound is still there.
Wheel bearing? Driveshaft? Rearend bearing? I'm at a loss...
