Help!

I have been running a gearbox tuner on my truck and it has worked great. The other day I saw a ad on craigslist the other week for a H&S pro xt programmer so I bought it and that is where my nightmare starts. The guy told me he had unlocked it from his truck and he didn't when I plugged it to my truck it erased my hole ECM somehow and truck wouldnt start. So after getting my trucked towed to the shop and the ECM reflashed the truck will start again but it won't let me reinstall my gearbox programer. The error code says it can't read the vin. I have talked with gearbox a lot . They have sent me 2 more tuners to try and when I hook them up they give the same code. So with that said I took the truck back and the dealership dump the hole truck and reprogram everything again, still doesn't work. I need it bad because I have removed all the emission on my truck and doesn't won't to run without it . Could the ECM being going bad or did the H&S strew my truck up forever? Help please .

What kind of truck was the h&s on before yours? Try and update the card using the automatic updater on their website and see if that helps. All the instructions are on their site to walk you through the update process.
