What's the proper break rotor/pad break in?

I've got power slot rotors and ebc pads. The pads have a special coating for break in. I was just wondering what the proper break in procedure is? Before I just drove normal, but I heard that you should be driving at speed and then make a few hard stops.

Long stops are the best. No short hard stops. I usually take the first drive so my wife doesn't warp the rotors. What I do is get going on a 50 mph or so road that has nice long easy stop lights. Run it and slow down far away and come to a very gentle stop. Do this as much as possible. It will wear in the two nicely.

If you've been driving for a while and the rotors are hot, take it really easy when stopping so you don't glaze the brake pads or super heat the rotors. Once they're broken in, about 250 miles or less, you can punch 'em if you have to, but still mind them if they're hot.

Personally, I drive like this anyways.

Ok good. Easy on the breaks is what I like to do anyways. Only stomp on it if I have to cause an idiot pulls out in front of me. And they really like to do it when I tow my trailer...

Yeah, they pull out in front of me regardless because they think my truck is big slow dog. Little do they know that I only have to add about 10% more throttle and I'll smoke 'em. But, I'm patient so I just let them drive like a$$e$ while I sit five feet higher than them!!!
