How to change glow plugs

I am getting a P0673 DTC and will be replacing the number 3 glow plug. Are there any tricks to changing them?
Did a search and didn't see much.

Thanks

Go to motorcraft's service website and pay for a 72 hour subscription. Download and copy all the information you need. You will need Windows and Internet Explorer to view it. Sucks, but they let you see everything you could ever want to know about your truck.

I think it would be foolish to replace just 1. If you have the valve cover off replace all 4.I had 2 bad injectors #6 & #7 and replaced all 8 just in case. I didnt want another bad one to pop up in a month.

A guy I work with had some replaced. He was still throwing the codes after the replacement. He took it back and they had to replace the harness also. They said it was common that once you remove the plug you have to replace the harness also.

I dont know what the 6.4L is like but for the 6.0L, it was easier to take off the wheel well liner and access through there. And the wiring harnesses apparently get brittle from engine heat and break on removal so change the harness as well.
