I had a mbrp 4 inch on mine that was like that. It sounded good but I just felt like something was missing everytime I looked at it from the back so I ditched and put all new 5 inch on out the side.

It sounds better out the side(s) omho. But I also went from 4-5inch pipe. It was a little louder in the cab with it underneath too

I really should just buy a 5 but I've gotta tone it down on the spending.

I know what u mean! Both of mine are definitely money hungry!! U wouldn't regret a five inch over a four if u decide to go that route. Good luck

Im probably going to do this to mine. A lot of kits join together right there now where I want to chop mine so you can leave the side exit off or install it back on which would be handy. O well, Im going to cut at a 45*ish angle so that if I wanted to put my side exit back on it will be easier to line up square to weld

I ran 5" out the side with 7" tip and I originally cut the tail pipe back to far and kept getting soot on my bumper. So while I saved some money I ran a turn down over the rear axle with my 7" tip. It makes the 6.4 actually sound like something lol because it echoes off the ground. No drone on the highway which surprised me. I'm on vacation or I'd upload some pics for ya to see
