Exhaust tip?

I have a 4" straight pipe on my 08 6.4, I plan to order a exhaust tip. I'm thinking 6" would look best? Will it make my truck any louder or sound different? Feel free to post pictures of your exhaust tips! Thanks in advance!

No, an exhaust tip isn't going to change the sound or anything other than looks. I had a 5inch tip on my 4 inch exhaust on my 06 and it was tiny, going with 6 inch on the 2010 250 to go with the 5inch exhaust I have.

No sound difference. I have a 6" tip on 5" exhaust

By the time you get back there it won't matter in sound. I like the stealth look so I cut the stock pipe where it had widened to 5" and welded it on my 5" straight pipe.
