stock exhaust tip fell off

today I was driving and its doing a regen and I have always noticed my exhaust tip had been loose since I got it and it had actually fall off when I picked it up the place were it would be welded looks like it had just snapped off would that have been caused by so much heat? also by the time I realized it was gone and turned around someone ran it over so I cant put it back on. does anyone have theres that would sell it to me

Search craigslist or post a "want to buy" ad in the performance section on here. If not your gonna have to buy a dpf back exhaust for it. A friend of mine broke off their too, it was like the when he bought it so someone prolly bumped it and with that vent being the weak point it snapped there and finally fell off. You prolly can't leave it that way either because of the heat going straight under the bed while stopped in traffic or idle

Another option is to make the dpf fall off with a tuner.

Yup, that was me It was weird, just like gone, I noticed when I bought it but then it was WAY cheaper to buy an exhaust vs just a stock part from Ford to replace that part. I never did actually get a quote for that 1 single piece but looking at what an exhaust costs(not the DPF part) I can't imagine.
