wont stop sqeaking!! need your input

Hey guys. Just bought a 08 6.4 king racnh love the truck to death so powerful its bone stock for now! anyway. i didnt really notice on the test or on the way home, finally after about 5 days of driving it i had all the windows down and it was just a non stop squeak coming from the bed area...as your going down the road and you hit the smallest little bump/pothole it would squeak. never heard it until now cause its the frist time i road with the windows down. the guy who owned it before did haul a 5th wheel it has the flip up ball in the bed. my best guess would be that it is maybe the shocks worn out? im just not sure of yall have any input would be awesome! kinda annoying have it now and driving through a parking lot and hit a bump and squeak squeak!!
Thanks
-Jon

Try taking the tailgate off/driving with it down. It may be the stops on the sides of the bed where the tailgate hits against it.

Wipe a little white grease on them if the noise goes away if the gate is down.

Easiest solution is have a friend in the bed jump up and down and shake truck from side to side while you trace the squeak down.

UPDATE!! went out checked out the tailgate...turns out thats where it was coming from while it was latched you could wiggle it just ever so little and it was rubbing on a rubber stopper on the side i believe. so my solution, whip out the can of wd-40 and started spraying both sides where ever the tailgate touches and latches at, all done squeak is gone! thanks guys!
