Decent mpg pulling 10k lb camper high elevation

I was impressed to get 13 mpg (hand calculated) on vacation, also 5500ft to 11,000 ft above sea level with 38" tires and 8" lift. Mini maxx was on tow setting, monarch pass was a tough pull but egt stated under 1100*, coolant got a little hot but towed real nice.

im jealous. how fast were you going? i pulled our boat (8k lbs) and hand calculated 11mpg half highway (70mph) and half backroads (55mph). this is with only a leveling kit and 33s but i didnt try changing tunes and just ran the 300hp tune.

I'd guess about 60, I baby the truck everywhere, very light on the throttle especially with a trailer. I was expecting 8mpg on average, it was a fairly flat drive except the one mountain pass.
