Screech at low speed with heavy foot

I get a screech that sounds like it is coming from between the radio and drivers air vent. It is when you are going slow the mash it. I am running 300hd, it's got 106000 miles on it. Power is just like always boost is good. Runs great. When I am hooked to my box trailer running 300 hd no power, no noise at full throttle, boosting 35 psi. Any ideas?

Well I did some digging around online, and checked for soot under my heat shield between the turbos and there is some there. Can I take the shield off and see anything? I found the soot just by sticking my finger under there and wiping around. Some may call the noise a squeal. I tried taking that shield off before but was unsuccessful.

Now that I think about it that was repaired when the cab was off in October, so that may explain the soot. Also when the truck is warm it does not seem to do it as bad. Really once she warmed up today I was not able to make it squeal. I am going to try to take that shield off later on this week.

Sounds like a boost leak. Mine did that for a while also. Look at all the intercooler tubes for soot, maybe even look around the down pipe. Mine had a big line of soot coming out of one of the boots onto a CAC pipe. So I just took them apart, cleaned the boot and pipe, and tightened it back on and it was fine

Also check the up pipes for a leak. That would explain the noise and the soot.

Up pipes and fire wall don't have any soot. But when it is up to operating temp, it won't do it

Here is a video, you have to power brake it to hear the noise. The first couple of revs are in park, the next couple are power braking. Any ideas?http://youtu.be/dne05E-i6TM

I have not looked much further. The reason why is I think I tore the transmission out of the truck. Someone wanted a video from under the hood. So I had the wife power brake in reverse. Ever since then the tranny goes into reverse twice sorta. It shifts into reverse normally then a split second later you can fell it shift into reverse again sorta. The forward gears work fine. So I now have an attitude that if it gets me where I need to go I don't care what noises it makes.
