new 08 6.4 owner

Hey all, just purchased my first diesel.
It's a 2008 f350. 118k on the clock and runs great.
Doesn't smoke, shifts great and seems well taken care of.
Bought from a local dealer with trade in. All maintenance seems to have been kept up and the radiator has been replaced.

Any little hitches or issues I should look out for? And i purchased a 2yr/24k mile powertrain warranty with it also. What mods could void that?

Thanks for any advice and I'm happy to join the powerstroke family!

~kyle

Welcome to the forums!
Check out the general modifications sticky in this forum. I would link it but can't seem to get it to work with my phone lol.
As for your warranty you would have to read the fine print. As with most companies they will probably deny claims no matter what. It's just standard procedure for them.
The best thing you can do for your engine is get rid of that dpf. Read that sticky post and again welcome to the forums.

Save your money and dont get a dpf back exhaust. It doesnt provide any improvements to performance or mileage, just looks better. Save up for a tuner, exhaust/dpf delete and air intake.
