Aux back up light options

Just wonder what you guys are running and how you'd mount them? I have my front windows tinted and at night makes it almost impossible to see my backup lights. I'd like to kinda hide the lights up under the truck a bit to clean up the look from the rear. Also which up fitter switch should I tie into?

I got mine from the tractor store. 14w led. They are crazy bright. I wired into the trailer rev. wire then ran the wire from aux 3 to one the 3 firewall wires into the engine fuse box at the trailer fuse. That way the lights come on in rev. and aux 3 if I need light behind me at night.

Wired mine the same as ^^^^^ but I used rigid dually led's in the defused 60deg lens. Super bright! I have 5% tint on my widows and I can see fine in my mirrors now.

My ranch hand came with oval back up lights which, while not super bright, are a huge improvement over the virtually non-existent stock backup lights. I dont remember what they are wired into. Some guys tie them into their upfitters so they can switch them on whenever, Ive heard its handy to deter tailgaters at night......

This isnt my truck, just the same style bumper. Aux back up light options-f24673569.jpg

I thought of mounting mine somewhere on the frame kinda tucked out of sight. Didn't know if anyone had some pics of this?

I bought some 7w Cree LED lamps and replaced my stock backup lamps with them. They're not as bright as an additional light would be, but they're a huge improvement over the stock lamps. And the pair was something like $12 on Ebay.

One of these days I'll get around to installing some additional lights, but I haven't had a chance yet.
