Looking to buy a used 6.4 08 or 10

I've had a 06 cummins and an 05 duramax both trucks were great and never had any major mechanical issues that weren't my fault. The cummins was my favorite and was bullet proof after I swapped the tranny but rode like crap!
So I'm finally ready to take the plunge into a new emission style 6.4. I'm looking at 2 trucks that are pretty much identical for options except one is a 2010 with 16k miles and the other is an 08 with 54k miles. The reason I'm asking for advice is because there is a 10k difference in price. Both trucks still have egr and dpf installed. This will be a daily driver and I want it as trouble free as possible.

I'm looking to get the most bang for my buck deal wise. Both trucks I'm looking at are lifted. I think I'm leading towards the 08 since the only difference is a leer topper. I could tune and delete and get a topper on the 08 and still have room for a nice new concealed weapon to put in my center console . I guess my main concern is if I find an 08 that has been properly serviced and taken care of it should be just as good as a 10 correct?

Go with the 2010 if you can swing it. With the low milage, you can still delete and have a reliable truck for the long run.

2010 Ford F-250 Super Duty, Lariet 4x4, Crew Cab Short Bed, loaded with every option...and more

My 08 has been great, bought it with 116,000 and I now have 136,000. Ain't much difference between 08, 09, or the 10's. just make sure it has the updated radiator hoses. I'd pull an oasis report from the dealer so you know more about the truck
