HUBS

Does anyone have the 411 on aftermarket hubs for the 08-10's? Looks like Ford is my only source which is BS. They are SOTF with manual lock outs.

One has taken a dump and it grinds in 4X4. Started off as a squeaking. Ford wants a GRIP for OEM's

go on ebay and get OEM or Sunrise ford on here ( ps OEM is Warn and mine have 95 k no issue )

there is no aftermarket option unless you rip out the unit bearing and stub shaft s to do a retrofit to the tune of over 1K

search Dynatrac spin free

ps it's not fords fault no one has made an aftermarket replacement and Warn can not since they are OEM and have an agreement

but the OEMs aren't fail prone unless your boost launching /lacking lube /or unlucky IMHO so this may be another reason others like Mile Marker ETC have not stepped up

that and the PVH for the auto system would likely need to be an option since most folks like it

I hear ya. I got my truck with 100K on it and when i took it mudding for the first time I slid and hit a rut on the LF. Started squeaking and now it grinds. I took it out before the grinding started and the plastic cage inside was broken up. Cleaned it off and reinstalled. 4X4 works fine......its the noise.
