Welcome to the dark side! But Ive got to ask, c4 grandsport or c6 grandsport? I'm saving up for a c5 Z06, although I'm only 1/2 way there......

If it was me I would go for a C6 Z as they are flat out nasty with a cam, intake, full exhaust, and a tune! since I got rid of my S/C cobra thats what I want to replace it with.

And to the OP welcome back! I miss my tuned 6.4 power wise all the time but not the emissions BS that went along with it!

Well a C5 zo6 can be had for about 20-25 around here, C6z's are still 35+. I have about 17 saved up..... I would love a C6Z, that 7L makes me drool......

It was a C6 GS. I wanted a C6z but they are just to damn rich for my blood($45k for an 07 w/high miles or for an 11 w/next no miles?) and, the LS7 is a real crapshoot it seems so far as engine integrity. Most of that seems to be dependant on if they were AutoX'd. The dry sump system was inadequate and starved the engine. Thats is the theory at least. The LS3 in the GS is MORE than capable and responds well and safely to a S/C setup. Which was the plan initially. I just wound up needing to reduce some debt. Anyway. I had traded a C5z for the GS. The Z WAS quicker. But the GS was faster. And soooooo much nicer. No comparison.
