2010 dash removal different than a 2008??

So I am trying to get the dash out of my 2010 F350 to replace the blend door on the passenger side (apparently after 3 years ford didnt figure out these were a problem) I have followed the steps in the 2008 thread to remove the dash and it wont budge.. At all!! Has anyone else run into this? I think the welded posts in the pics are the cause of the problem but dont know how to get them off. They are located in the door jamb where the three bolts are on each side..
