oil Change

Newb Question
Is there a oil life reset for the information system.
self performed all filters and fluids on my 2008 F 450 king Ranch and cant seem to find a reset so the computer knows I changed the oil.

Nope. It did not tell me to change the oil and I dont see any oil life percentage info on the accessible information system. I just bought the truck and generally dont trust used car dealers to keep up on service so I decided to go ahead and change oil, oil filter, air filter and both fuel filters for my piece of mind. the truck may not have a oil change reminder?
i ask the question because all my other vehicles have some form of reminder to change the oil and if this one has it I just wanted it to be in sync with the maintenance I performed to day. thanks for replying!

Yea no problem.. I use Gas Cubby on my Iphone to track all fuel mileage and maintenance.. It will remind you by how many miles you choose for whatever maintenance you want.

Say what? There is a computer notification of it being oil change time?
I've never seen any such alerting in my 2008 F250 King Ranch. I just keep
tabs on the mileage the old fashion way.

The Diesels do not have the oil life monitor feature. Probably due to the fact that 6.4 Powerstroke needs oil changes every 5,000 miles. I have a 2010 6.4 diesel and it does not have oil life monitor. I had a 2010 F250 with 5.4L gas engine and it had the oil life monitor.
