6.4 Regeneration Cycle

I have a 6.4 with an edge cts programmer, afe stage two intake, and 4" straight pipe. whenever my truck performs the regen cycle it blows white smoke like crazy. Is there anyway to make the regen cycle just not happen?

I don't think the Edge CTS supports a DPF delete. You either need a different tuner, or put the DPF back in. I bet you have a check engine light too, right?

There's going to be all kinds of trouble if you are going into Regen without having the DPF. I'm surprised you haven't gone into limp mode yet.

You need a tuner that supports a DPF delete, your current tuner doesn't. Most tuners that support a DPF delete are called "race" tuners. They're not uncommon, but some models have gotten harder to find and more expensive lately. There are still a lot of choices out there though.

Or you can put your DPF and related sensors back on the truck.

Those are your options. A new tuner, or reinstall your stock exhaust. And you should probably take the previously offered advice and read up on the subject.

I was planning to upgrade to a spartan phalanx tuner, do you know if that supports dpf delete

Yes the spartan is one of the best that supports the delete.
