Turbo lazy, excessive smoke...

My truck (08 6.4 KEM tuned, deleted, and CAI) has recently started doing something strange. When driving along and you go to accelerate mildly, it seems like my turbo is lagging. The fuel is there, a bit much smoke, then things spool up.
I replaced my MAP and EBP sensors but that didnt change anything / air filter is clean / no DTC's - any ideas of where to look next?

Did you clean out the tube that the ebp sensor screws into? Maybe clean the MAF sensor?

08 F350 cc/sb 4X4
h&s minimaxx, 5" flo pro, 4" down pipe, no limit cold air intake, dirty diesel EGR delete with intake elbow, 6.0 exhaust manifolds, custom up pipes, ported intake manifold, Apex 71mm LP turbo, Rudy's cold side pipe, diesel site coolant and transmission filter, diesel site intercooler boots, ccv mod, bilstein shocks, gogo dd solenoid, HID lights, Airdog II 165, PMF traction bars, PMF drag link, moshimoto aluminum radiator

My EBP sensor came with a new tube. I didnt do the MAF sensor - will clean that tomorrow.

Hmmm sounds like an ebp sensor/map sensor issue. Are both sensors plugged in good? Possibly bad diesel?

Mine is doing the same thing & I cant figure it out either. I've replaced the EBP & MAF sensors & been through multiple tanks of fuel with & without Diesel Kleen, no difference at all

So there is a new MAP sensor, a new EBP sensor and tube, cleaned MAF sensor, and the turbo actuator rod appears to be moving; however, the problem persists...

Maybe check to see if the up pipes are leaking. Also check the intercooler boots.

All of the above have been checked.
I had my truck at Ford dealer today to try to do more diagnostics. I had seen a DTC once before but forgot about that. It was a P2453 unknown code on my Minimax. I had cleared that off and today at the dealership, the code surfaced again P2453 Particulate Matter Trap Differential Pressure Circuit.
I cleared code with my Minimax and they verified with their diagnostics that it had been cleared. Drove home about 30 miles and same code present.
All other functions that they tested (with tune / delete) in place tested out as normal.
Truck is a bit smoky, a bit hard on fuel, and turbo boost appears to be down a bit - is this the result of some glitch whereby its thinking its doing a regen of something similar?
Any ideas??
