Exclamation TPMS - Can Ford turn it off now or still no?

Just changed over my wheels/tires to my ones from my 05 and I didn't have TPMS on that truck so of course don't have sensors. Not to mention they are Nitto MT's and I am not going to run them at like 65psi anyways, but whatever.

Has anyone had any luck with Ford just turning the TPMS system off totally? I have no use for it, and really don't care to have it. The little light is annoying but I guess I can live with it if needed.

I know the HS tuning has a tool that can turn the TPMS off from searching on here and reading about it, but I am using a SCT Livewire tuner for my actual tuning.

It reads like using the HS and Mini Max to turn off the TPMS is no issue, and I can still use my SCT Livewire to tune, but I want to make sure that is correct?

Thanks!!

I upgraded to after market Fuel Hostage's last month at Discount Tire and I asked them to delete the TPMS because I have H&S and its obsolete with larger tires because of the lower pressures with 37's. They told me, legally, they can't remove it if it's equipped. Even though aftermarket tires run a lower pressure, and the dummy light comes on, they can't disable it. Through H&S its $100 to make the light go away.. I'm just gonna deal with it. Start the truck and hit the reset button on the dash. Its annoying, yes, but not worth $100. I've yet to check if there is a designated fuse for it, and maybe that could be the solution?

Theres a guy a few hours from me with the HS, gonna meet up with him shortly to delete it. Sounds like he bought it and had helped a ton of guys out since he had 2 HS tuners, so he would ship it along with the module out.

Good people for sure. Figure I'll drive down to Cincy, get him dinner and beer, and he and I will delete the TPMS. Thing is stupid anyways lol.
