NewB Here

2010 6.4 Mods are MBRP Down pipe back, Intake, Spartan tuner,
I have read so much about this truck, installed the 175 dpf delete tune. My?, or concern is what to do with the EGR, not taking it out for a while and not doing a delete kit for a while. Also any transmission issues I should worry about with some of these tunes. Guess I need peace of mind this is all going to work. Thanks for any input.

If you're worried about something breaking just drive it like you cant afford to fix it.

H&S tuned. B&W gooseneck hitch with Companion 5th wheel. Helwig rear sway bar. Edge CTS monitor. Dieselsite coolant filter. Rancho 9000 shocks. Airlift 5000 air bags with onboard compressor. Viair onboard air with 5 gal tank. Flo-pro stainless 4 in. exhaust.

If you are worried about truck problems then keep the tune on the low side and drive it easy. Any reason why you arent taking out the EGR? Not sure where you live but diesels around here dont go through emissions so I would have taken that out before I did anything.

Help,

So, I can do egr delete, coolers, this will not allow hot gasses through turbo? Need to wait a couple of months for some funds. Also leaving it on with a low tune should not kill anything right. Is it good to delete with tune and still have it installed, I here different stories,

Yes do the egr/cooler deletes. Flo Pro makes a nice kit with a stainless high flow intake elbow. Your truck will thank you.

Welcome to the org

ALSO

In line with this thread, How well does the egr delete via programmer work? I installed the BPD egr as I could be a victim of a visual inspection and wanted an intact egr just in case.
I would however like to program out the damn thing with my sct. Just wondered how effective that is and what anyone knows about going this route?
