Mothers Mag and Aluminum Polish?

Has anyone used Mothers Mag and Aluminum Polish on their factory 20's?

I am wondering if it is safe to use. It gives an unbelievable shine (quite a bit better than wax) but it says that if a black residue does not appear the metal is not able to be polished. Will it cause damage if used?

Trying to polish the clear coat then, will not produce the black stuff you get when polishing bare metals. Other than that, I love mothers mag and aluminum polish. I even used it on the speedo glass on my harley when it got permanent water marks in it. Took em right out. Believe it or not, I've even used it on paint, by hand, and its done wonders for stubborn stuff in there
