How do I know if I'm in 4X4?

This may be a stupid question but how do I tell? My hubs are in auto and my know is set to 2wd but lately the front end has been feeling different. When I turn the wheel kind of shakes a little bit

1. Make sure your hubs are in AUTO.
2. Make sure your switch is in 2WD.
3. Verify your 4WD light on your tachometer is OFF.
4. Try driving in a tight circle on dry pavement.

If you are somehow stuck in 4WD you will definitely know it then.

This...
You will feel the front end 'grabbing' at the pavement

Anytime you try to turn on pavement the front of your truck with jump as its grabbing the pavement. Which is not advised but more than likely you would know you are in 4WD. Or you could try to boost launch from a light. Youll be able to feel the front tires grabbing.
