Question Best tune for trip?

Planning a trip from TX to FL tomorrow. I currently have the spartan 210el loaded. Truck is stock mostly. On delete only removed dpf with afe 4" delete pipe. Have 35x12.5x20 wheels also. Do not plan on towing. Plan on taking it easy on the skinny pedal during trip. Is the 210el best or should I change tune?

i dont have experience with the spartan tunes, but the higher HP tunes are going to yield you the best mileage. i would go with the 300 tune.. and try to keep the speed to 70 mph. my higher HP tunes give me the best mileage.

Well I loaded the 275el since got feedback from spartan forum recommending that tune for trip. The trans shifts harder on the 275el than the 210el. Hope shifting will improve over trip this weekend.

Shifting will smooth out ,the shifts are firmer than 210 but not bad at all and its a good tune. I ran the 310el its a little hungrier on the fuel and I was not driving it hard at all 13.5mpg went back to 275el 16mpg much better . That's just mainly city with a little highway. Will try the 300el soon . 275 is solid tune I've ran it for about 30k miles 16k on 210 in the early days .

I run the spartan 275ll and I average 23-25 mpg per tank. Absolutely lowest I have seen with alot of idle was 20.5 and the highest on a 300 miles trip was 25.6. My truck is a ccsb. I have intake and 4 in straight pipe exhaust

I run a Spartan tuner and get the best mpg on the 300el if you can keep off the skinny pedal. I set cruise at 75 and get around 21-22 hand calculated on the hwy with my truck sbcc 9,140lbs.. but man it is hard for me to stay out of it..

A lot of people try to judge by the rpms for fuel mileage but I have found that it is more related to usually once the boost gets to or above 10psi, thats USUALLY, but not always, why higher tunes get better fuel mileage. I have a very very strong tune probably one of my strongest that cruises at 15-20psi, although the egts are the lowest at cruising on this tune than on any other, the fuel mileage is down

Thinking about getting rid of the stock 6.7 turbo?
Check this out... and research before buying
