Oil question

What oil and wieght is everyone running? 5W/40 or 15W/40?

Spartan,Afe,Mbrp Delete with duals,Banks Intercooler,Custom CCV Mod,22.5 American Forces,Flo Pro egr delete,Lots of Strobes,Atomic Strobes,5%Tint and 20% Windshield Tint,B&W gooseneck,K3LA Train horns and some other goodies, Head studs and waste gate coming this spring

92 Mustang Lx Hatch X275 Drag Radial been low 7's

It's personal preference and depends on your climate. I ran motor craft 15w-40 for 12,000 miles(changed every 3000) then switched to mobile 1 turbo diesel 5w-40 ever since(changed every 5000)I'm in a climate similar to you.

chevron delo 15-40 in 96er.............. for 150,xxx miles now. no problems.

if you see a light at the end of the tunnel, it's probably just a photon torpedo

Most run 15w-40 if they run Dino and 5W-40 if they run synthetic

I run rotella T6 5W-40.

08 F350 cc/sb 4X4
h&s minimaxx, 5" flo pro, 4" down pipe, no limit cold air intake, dirty diesel EGR delete with intake elbow, 6.0 exhaust manifolds, custom up pipes, ported intake manifold, Apex 71mm LP turbo, Rudy's cold side pipe, diesel site coolant and transmission filter, diesel site intercooler boots, ccv mod, bilstein shocks, gogo dd solenoid, HID lights, Airdog II 165, PMF traction bars, PMF drag link, moshimoto aluminum radiator

5-40 in both. 325,000 on my 7.3. No problems.

Million threads on this and depends on your climate I run 0/40 year round
