mini-maxx installed

Just got my minmaxx put in. couple of questions..... I have no cruise right now. Looked on the H&S site for some EGR delete tunes but didn't find any. It says it is unlocked and I am running the HD300 so it must be. How do I get my cruise back??

Second question..... OOOOOOH my is it ever smokey........ I don't have an intake yet and I got the wrong delete pipe and only deleted the dpf. I plan on just gutting everything and putting it back on...... How do I get rid of the smoke???? I am gonna tune it down and stay off the pedal for a while but it is baaaaad.. Thanks.

Idk about the cruise control deal. But for less smoke reinstall the tune, it'll ask you what level you want the LBF (low boost fueling) set at. The lower the less smoke, but more lag at take off. Also if ur running old firmware update it, the newer updates are less smokey

Just put my S&B CAI in today running HD300 and it smokes more then when I had the stock Air cleaner in. Going to reset mine to lessen the black cloud.

Ok I re-installed it. Set it on the lowest setting for low boost fueling. It is much better. Still no cruise though.

What an unbelievable difference.

The cruise will normally not work until the truck is started a second time but should work then.

Yep, run the truck a couple times and the cruise will come back. It may be as few as 2 key cycles but I'm not sure.

Ok, it was killing me so I had to go for a drive.... Cruise worked after I started the truck the second time. All is good.

My take on it. The power is totally unnecessary. But none the less I wish i would have had it Sat night when the convoy of old cummins came by me and smoked me on the way bye..... It was tough not to try it but I didn't want them winning anything if I could help it so I just ignored them. It is just nice to know it is there if you ever need it. Now off to bed so I can lay there and think about what I want to do next.

How tough is it to gut the dpf and cat?
