I don't know what rock guard is...but line x goes on hot and bonds immediately to the paint. The guarantee it for life in beds so I would think the line x would be better. Plus you can get it tinted a certain color to go with your paint

I got Line X sprayed on mine (bed only). I never heard of Rockguard, but Id like to say that no matter what brand..... its all about the prep work & how good the individual does his job. IMO one formula of liner is better than the other, but not by much.

How many used the brands in the auto parts store and did their own? I was thinking about doing that. Rino wants $500 to do my bed, where the kit is about 1/3 - 1/2 that price.

You get what you pay for simple as that I've seen the two side by side and the Line x looks way better hands down

I went with reflex over the line x. It is quite a bit softer which I liked. There's no primium or regular it's just one choice but they can also do any color and like I said its been on over 5 years and it has not faded one bit!!
