Regen Message???

Anyone get the following message when your truck goes into Regen?

CLEANING EXHAUST FILTER (Diesel engine only). Displays
briefly when the vehicle has entered the cleaning mode normally; or,
displays continuously when cleaning the filter after a DRIVE TO CLEAN
EXHAUST SYSTEM message was previously displayed. This message is
NORMAL.

Page 140 of my manual tells me that I should get this message. After at least 10 regens, I have never seen that message before. Just wondering if anyone else is seeing it.

Someone just put a post on this, if your truck doesn't display this take it to the dealer for the updated flash and it will start. Job 2 thing.
It will also tell you when the truck is too cold after start up and you should wait before you drive it.
Mine doesnt display this either but I believe in "if it's not broke don't fix it". I haven't had any problems with my truck and am afraid if they mess with it I might. JMO

Hmmm... Interesting. My truck is a Job 2, so should it be displaying?

I am with you on the If It Ain't Broke.

Do you have a link to that post you mentioned?

It's all good. I think you went through enough trouble being one of the first to gut the DPF and delete Regen. You deserve it.

I just hope that when I am ready, KEM can take care of me. They are so close it's not even funny.

I am famous (maybe even notorious) for showing up in person when I can't get a hold of the person. You can't ignore me if I am in front of you. Not that I think KEM would ignore me. Sounds like he is just plain busy. I wouldn't hesitate to take a drive over there.
