34 mpg 6.4??
so i found myself checking craiglist again for any deals and this guy has a 08 6.4 he claims gets 34 mpg highway, its got 74k miles tuner, egr delete, intake, and a 5" exhaust says before the mods he was getting 10 mpg city and 12 highway which seems pretty bad to 17 in town to 34 highway. Is this possible? The truck is out of my price range due to other mods but i found a stock one for a good price and maybe copy his mods? Just wondering what you guys thought, ever heard of this kind of mpg comming from a 6.4? or any heavy duty truck? Might get to sell my gas saver!

Lol obviously lying. Maybe if he was going down a steep grade for several hundred miles. He probably only gets about half that at best.

The guy is full of $h!t. The best I have seen with mine running empty with my spartan on the 275 el with a 5" exhaust an s&b intake is 22 hwy running 70 mph. That was a 600 mile trip to hoxie, ks with one stop on the way out and back no driving while I was there.

34 mpg 6.4??
He has to be reading off the computer and not hand calculating. I have had my dash read 34 after an entire tank of driving (Dallas to Austin and back). Btw the hand calculated for that was 18.
