Oil Change

With 15 quarts of oil in the 6.4's, what do you guys use to catch the used oil in when changing? Do you fill some catch container put the plug back in and empty or change containers then continue? Just wondering, about to do my first oil change.

Oil Change

I used a 5 gallon pail a couple times. Then I installed a Fumoto valve. I put a short piece of hose on it and fill up the empty oil jugs from the last oil change. Works great.

I use 5 gallon bucket then pour it back into jugs to take to a shop that takes used oil.

Thanks. The 5 gal bucket and transfer back to the empty new oil jugs for disposal sounds line a plan.

5 gallon Home Depot bucket with lid taken to Auto Zone for disposal. Its easy and do not have to refill empty gallon or quart containers.

x2 on the Fumoto drain valve. Makes oil changes a breeze and no mess. I bought a 15qt used oil container that has a lid so I just fill that up and go dump it at AutoZone for recycling.
