What does tow haul do and how much weight in or behind the truck should I worry about setting it ?

Firms of the shifts a little bit and holds off on shifting for a little bit longer in each gear. I would say on a stock truck anything probably above 8k would help. You can run it whenever you want and whatever feels comfortable to you

x2. i used mine yesterday just pulling 2 4wheelers on a medium sized trailer. i like to keep it in the lwoer gear when i am taking off and see a hill coming up, that way with my spartan on an early lock tune it wont go into overdrivce and fall under the turbos.
