Yes. Same issue with the 6.0s. The snow plow prep package comes with a different (more heavy duty) fan clutch (the actual fan is the same). It's because the plow creates some funky aerodynamics that actually causes the OEM fan clutch to spin backward, causing overheating. I don't plow but installed the plow prep fan clutch on my truck because it has a higher disengagement point and keeps the truck cooler (and the AC cooler). The fan clutch costs between $200 and $300.
