No heat..... Occasionally

Just got my truck so I don't know too much about it. I have been noticing that the heat quits from time to time and only blows cold air. It seems if I bump the temp up a degree or two it immediately blows hot. Auto is off. I know it could be air in the system. I have no idea if anything has been done to the truck recently or not. Just checking I there is something common that happens to these or not. Thanks.

Re: No heat..... Occasionally

Does it blow cold at idle then heat up when you take off? If so, probably low coolant.

Ok I took it in today and the tech said it was the blend door.... I know they look like they are a pain in the butt, how much are the parts? It was Saturday and my salesman was gone already so we never got a deal made (just bought it on Monday) I have 7 days to bring itback for a full refund and was hoping to use that to get them to fix it but I would settle for parts as they are 140 miles away and I don't mind working on stuff, it's my spare truck so I can take my time and walk away for a day if it pisses me off. Plus I don't see me returning this thing anyway.

Just curious what you'de all do?? I know these doors have been an issue on these. Thanks
